Some places, such as New York, are old Yuletide standbys that are much more impressive in person. The tree at Rockefeller Center is almost certainly the world’s most famous Christmas tree, but it is only the centerpiece for a city-wide Christmas display. 


With a 80 to 100 feet Norway spruce tree decked with about 30,000 lights attached to 5 miles of wiring and topped off with a 550 pound star, New York boasts of being one of the best cities to experience a grand Christmas day.




Amsterdam is a beautiful city in its own right with 16th and 17th century houses adorning it’s streets. Add all sort of lights and decorations, and you have the perfect ingredients for an amazing Christmas experience.



With a 100 foot tall decorated tree and about two dozen Christmas markets Munich is a City you have to visit during the Christmas holiday.



A city named after Santa Claus has a lot to live up to during the holidays, and Santa Claus Indiana delivers with all sorts of Santa-themed shops and attractions.



It is hard to beat a City who boasts of having eight Christmas markets, each packed with all manners of gifts, foods, and holiday items.



Boston decks out in holiday cheer with over 2,800 working gas lamps, trees wrapped in white lights, topped with the impressive Christmas tree located in front of Faneuil Hall.



Prague sets a mind blowing setting for dazzling Christmas decorations. Add to this the various holiday markets in Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square and you have the makings of a holiday experience you will never forget.



Santa Claus Village and Santa Park are located at the foot of the Arctic Circle. Each year they draw thousands of visitors from all over the world to tour the two different Santa themed parks, which include real reindeer, a tour of Santa’s workshop.



 Lights are strung across the streets and people congregate at the big Christmas market on the Place Masséna.



Christmas in Charleston is filled with Southern flair and delicious oddities such as eggnog spiked with bourbon and Shrimp with grits. Not to mention beautifully decorated streets lined with shops, Poinsettias, and good ol’ Southern hospitality.
